Thursday Update

This week seems to be going pretty well so far. I've decided to get motivated and get that last 10 pounds off. To make sure I actually exercise and don't come up with one of a billion reasons not to do it during the day, for the past 3 days, I've been getting up at 4:30 so I can exercise and shower before the kids get up. It makes a HUGE difference in my day! I have more energy and feel like I'm really accomplishing something. I definitely have to be in bed by 10:00 though or I'm not sure I would be able to get up. Jason is being super supportive, even though he has to listen to my alarm go off. I haven't had to set an alarm to get up by for 8 1/2 years (except when I travel). It's a new experience to get jolted awake by something other than a baby crying.

The kids are cute as ever. Everyone is finally (hopefully) over being sick. Ethan has an ear recheck today to make sure his ear infections are gone. Zoey sees the ENT Doctor this morning and if her ears aren't completely clear we're going to schedule her getting tubes put in.

Here are some recent pictures of the kids. This first one is how Ethan came home from school on Tuesday. I'm not sure what they were doing that day but he kept it on until bedtime.

This is Mia last weekend after getting a big girl haircut.

This is Zoey after finding Mia's apple (that she took 3 bites out of) on the edge of the table. She walked around eating it for about 30 minutes and did a fairly good job.

Hope everyone is having a good week and has fun plans for this weekend!

Feel free to post comments. We'd love to hear from everyone!

First Blog Post

Hi everyone! Here is the official first blog post from the Bishop Family. Notice the address of the blog is Knit With Wine. That is because I enjoy knitting and drinking wine in the little free time that I have.

I thought this blog would be a good way to update everyone on what is happening in our lives these days. There will of course be pictures of and stories about the children but there might also be pictures from Jason's latest 4-Wheeler adventure or my latest knitting project.

Enjoy!
